“Mesmerizing Turkey”

Turkey is a transcontinental country also known as the ‘capital of history and tourism’. This stunning and diverse country extends from western Asia to eastern Europe. Its full of intriguing historic structures, bewitching natural beauty, rich culture, bustling markets, ultra-modern cities, and warm locals,. Its Land of spicy kebabs and the delectable baklava.

Last year One Big Brother Aditya Joshi participated in Ironman which was in Antalya and I got a chance to accompany him along with another friend Manoj to witness the event and to visit the Beautiful country Turkey and cities Antalya and Istanbul. Istanbul Can be reached by direct 7.30 hours flight from Delhi and Antalya is connected by Air and by road from Istanbul.

Antalya is the fastest-growing city in Turkey, and its fabulous mix of great beaches and traditional Turkish culture. With old historical monuments and a rich modern nightlife it’s a perfect resort town. Ironman was happening in Antalya in “The Land Of Legends” .

Considered as the toughest single day sports event in the world, Ironman is a test of human resolve. The  triathlon Race Day is the crowning celebration of countless hours of relentless training, that athletes put in months preceding the race. Participants at Ironman 70.3 Turkey swim 1.9 kms in the picture-perfect and crystal clear waters of the Turkish Riviera. It is followed by a scenic bike course of 90 kms. And in the final leg of the race the triathletes take the five-loop 21.1 km run course through the most impressive parts of “The Land of Legends”.
